How to keep your hair curled all day

Lately i have been really loving curled hair. Here's how i do it.

step 1: apply heat protectent. My favorite is Tresemme heat tamer spray.

2: I put in a little bit of redken spray starch 15 to hold my curls better. its a heat memory spray, so it keeps your hair in the style that you do with any heat tool. I try not to use too much of this though, because it smells kind of bad.

3: Curl your hair! i like the conair instant heat in either 1 inch or 1 and a quarter inches. I'm not sure which one it is.

4: Use hairspray. I thik the Exact brand Hairspray for style and movement is great. it smells nice, holds your hair well, and doesnt make your hair crunchy at all.

Back to School: Clothing Essentials!

This post is going to have only clothing items, i might do a post with accessories in a couple days. Sorry if i'm too late and your summer is already over! but i don't think that this is necessarily only useful for back to school. these are items i think you should have all year-round :)
Tops:
I think its pretty important to have a few good Cami's to wear under any really low cut or see-through tops. Navy and coral ones are from forever21, Black one is from Urban Planet, and light turquoise one is from Primark.
Next is tank tops. You can wear them with a cardigan over them, or you can use them as undershirts instead of Cami's, if you prefer. I really love the ribbed tank tops from Garage. Blue and coral tanks are from forever21, bright purple is from garage, and crochet racer back purple one is from American Eagle.

Next is plain V necks in all different colors. These are  probably my favorite kind of shirt to wear because its really comfy and casual, but you can dress them up a little and make them look nice too. All of the ones in the photo are the Basic V-neck top from Forever21.

Next up is plain T-shirts. I like these because (like the v-necks) they can be dressed up or down, depending on what you wear with them. The coral one is from Streetwear society, the light pink one is from zellers, and the blue one that says O'Neil all over it is from O'Neil.

I also think cardigans are good to have. They are nice to wear over tank tops or plain T shirts in the winter so your arms don't get cold. I love the cardigans from MidTown, which is where both the ones in the photo are from.

Bottoms:
I think having at least 2 or 3 good pairs of jeans are necissary, because they go with everything and once again- can be dressed up or down. I think its good to get them in different "wash's". this dark wash skinny pair is from forever21.

Then i think having a pair of plain black yoga pants is good for days when you dont really want to get all dressed up and look nice. I dont really like the cut of the ones in the picture, but these were just the ones i had handy. I really love lululemon ones, but these ones are from "the girls".

Skirts are good to have for warmer days when you want to look nice. I like personally like high waisted color block ones. This one is from Urban Planet.

Others:
For shoes i think you should stick to mainly ballet flats and sandals (and sneakers, if you want). I don't really recommend wearing high heels, especially if your school is like mine, and there are many portables and you have to do lots of walking between classes. The black sandals are from 360 surf, the black flats are from Primark, and the silver-ish ones are from American Eagle.

I couldnt decide whether to put these in my clothes or accessories posts, so i just decided to put them in this one because i did it first.
For your bag, i reccomend getting a nice, sturdy, big purse that will last you for a long time, and will go with most of your outfits. I wear alot of blues, purples, and pinks, so this one goes well. Its from M&C.
Then i think you should just get one simple belt that goes with any pair of pants you need to wear it with. this one is from Primark.

Thanks for reading this! talk to you soon!

Nail polish Storage

These are all of my nail polishes! My favorite brands are Orly, China Glaze, OPI, Sally Hansen Insta-dry,  and Joe. I have them lined up in 2 rows on the top shelf of the cabinet in my bathroom.

Makeup Storage

This is all of the makeup i have now!
I have been trying to get rid of all of the makeup that i don't use, and this is all that i have left now.
I'm happy with it.
I don't really organize it, i just put all of my actual makeup in that red basket , and all my brushes and eyeliner pencils in that clear disposable cup (both probably from walmart).

China Glaze "Watermelon Rind"

I have had this nail polish for over a year now, and i finally used it for the first time the other day, and i actually really like it!
Its a very shimmery teal color. I have had it on for 3 or 4 days now and it hasn't chipped at all.
I used it with Essie Quick-E drying drops and Revlon fast dry topcoat.
I got it at sally beauty supply for around $6 i think.
